231012-N-CU072-1001 MANILA, Philippines (Oct. 12, 2023) A B-Roll package highlighting a ship reception held on the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force Murasame-class destroyer JS Akebono (DD 108) and Replenishment-at-sea training held on the Philippine navy Jose Rizal-class guided-missile frigate BRP Antonio Luna (FF-151) during Maritime Training Exercise (MTA) Sama Sama 2023. MTA Sama Sama is a multilateral exercise including forces from Philippines, the United States, Australia, France, Japan, Canada and the United Kingdom designed to promote regional security cooperation, enhance maritime interoperability, and maintain and strengthen maritime partnerships.
