U.S. Soldiers with the 109th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, 213th Regional Support Group, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, enter a gas chamber and feel the effect of the tear gas at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania., Aug. 10, 2023. This training is designed to experience the effects of biological and chemical warfare to learn how to properly use a gas mask. The gas chamber is a room that has a controlled concentration of orto-chlorobenzylidene-malononitrile gas, more commonly known as tear gas.
