A partnership between the U.S. Army and the ONE Gas Inc., a natural gas company based out the Tulsa, Oklahoma began today. The U.S. Army Recruiting Command, 5th Brigade, Recruiting Battalion – Oklahoma City joined members of ONE Gas in a ceremony that marks the beginning of a great partnership.
Lt. Col. John Garcia, Battalion Commander for the U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion – Oklahoma City and the President of ONE Gas, Pierce Norton, signed the partnership Memorandum of Agreement for the PaYS Program between the U.S. Army and ONE Gas. During the ceremony, they also cut the ceremonial cake and traded certificates.
The U.S. Army Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) Program is a strategic partnership between the U.S. Army and a cross section of private industry, academia and businesses to include: federal, state and local agencies. PaYS guarantees Soldiers and ROTC cadets two job interviews and possible employment after the Army.
