Just as Eielson AFB gears up to receive the F-35, the F-35 is also preparing for Eielson. The Lockheed Martin and the 461st Flight Test Squadron based in Edwards Air Force Base, visited interior Alaska to put the jet to the test and see how it functions in icy conditions.
