Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Kentucky conducted urban warfare training at McGregor Range, New Mexico to test out new weapons and electronic warfare capabilities as part of the Network Integration Evaluation (NIE), July 19-25.
NIE is a program that the Army takes part in to test and evaluate new equipment in an effort to ensure the battlefield is modernized and well-equipped to fit the Soldier’s needs in combat.
