The United States Air Forces Central (AFCENT) Band arrived at Shindand Airfield, Afghanistan on December 13, 2013. While beginning to unpack equipment, the base received an IDF attack. The AFCENT band acted accordingly, and per request of a U.S. Air Force Airman raised morale by singing an impromptu song in the bunker while waiting for the "All Clear".
