Lockheed Martin employees maintain the aerostat component to Persistent Threat Detection System at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, Oct. 22, 2016. The aerostat component of PTDS is equipped with sensors to provide long endurance intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and communications. There are six Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve training locations, four building partner capacity (BPC) sites and two specialized training sites. (U.S. Army video by Sgt.
