Natochannel
Oct. 28, 2016 | 0:53
Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces hosted the international military exercise "REGEX 16", which was held at the Kozara barracks in Banja Luka and the Manjaca Training Area from 24 to 27 October. As hosts of the exercise, the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of BiH had the largest number of participants (approximately 800), in an exercise totalling over 1,000 military members from more than ten countries. The theme of the exercise was peace-support operations and this is the first time that such an activity was carried out in a country that is not a member of NATO. Teaser: Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina host a large-scale multinational exercise with partner nations in order to train on peace-support operations.
