Recently, Texas State Guard soldiers from the 2nd Battalion 19th Regiment in Dallas, Texas, partnered with the Texas A&M Forest Service after the Llano river flooded, destroying the Kingsland bridge and contaminating local water sources. The group provided ice and water supplies to residents, in Llano County.
