U.S. Marines with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit conducted training on the Hatch-Mounted Satellite Antenna System at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C. Aug. 3, 2017. 22nd MEU installed the HMSAS to become familiarized with an innovative command and control capability and in preparation for a future deployment. Tom Staley, an engineer with Networking On-The-Move, and Christine Liou, an engineer with the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, explain the importance of HMSAS.
