Allies Participate in Land Forces Anniversary Celebration

Lithuania held a ceremony celebrating the 605th anniversary of the formation of the Lithuania Land Forces. Participating in the ceremony are soldiers from the 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), the Land Force
Command, Motorized Infantry Brigade "Iron Wolf", the National Defense Volunteer Force, hussars King Mindaugas Battalion, Grand Duchess Birute Ulonu Battalion, Grand Duke Butigeidis Dragoon Battalion, Juozas Vitkus Engineer
Battalion platoon to unit combat flag, and the Portugal Mechanized Brigade Panduro, 6th Cavalry Regiment. The ceremony consisted of the Lithuanian national anthem, speeches from the Lithuanian Minister of National Defence Juozas Olekas and the Lithuania Land Forces Commander Maj. Gen. Almantis Leika., a procession of
flowers to honor their fallen and then an award ceremony.
