Feb. 6, 2015 | 3:31
Sailors aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) participate in a replenishment at sea (RAS) with the Military Sealift Command combat support ship USNS Arctic (T-AOE 8). U.S. Navy ships conduct periodic RAS events during prolonged periods at sea to resupply equipment, goods and fuel. Theodore Roosevelt is underway participating in composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX), which test the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group's ability to effectively react to real-world scenarios and perform as an integrated unit. Also available in high definition. (U.S. Navy video by Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Bounome Chanphouang/Released)
