U.S. Marine Sgt. Matthew Booth, a trombonist with the 1st Marine Division Band, talks about the production and performance of the musical score for the Marine Corps’ new “Shifting Threats" commercial at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Nov. 16, 2022. While the division band is normally tasked with over 400 performances each year, for the past three years they have recorded the musical score for the Marine Corps’ recruiting commercials.
