210407-A-BD272-1001 ARABIAN GULF (April 7, 2021) - A Mark VI patrol boat attached to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 56 performs precision maneuvers during exercise Nautical Defender 21 in the Arabian Gulf, April 7. Neon Defender 21 is a military readiness and tactics exercise between the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, Marines, Airforce and Bahrain Defense Force including air operations in support of maritime surface warfare training, VBSS, high value unit defense, medical, mine clearance, search and rescue, airfield damage repair and counter improvised explosive device operations developed to exchange knowledge and shape connections with our regional partners.
