25th Infantry Division

The 25th Infantry Division honors the service and sacrifice of the Korean War veterans in our division and our Army. The Tropic Lightning Division was the second unit to arrive on the Korean Peninsula. Our Soldiers' courage and fortitude was tested against great adversity. Nevertheless, the quality of their response ultimately meant restoring the sovereignty of the Republic of Korea.

We commemorate the events of the Korean War to educate the public about the Army’s heroic and proud history as a way to inspire young men and women to serve today. U.S. forces continue to stand with our Korean and Indo-Pacific allies to maintain peace and security across the Indo-Pacific region.
