Recon Marines parachute through Republic of Korea
III Marine Expeditionary Force
March 22, 2017 | 1:20
U.S. and Republic of Korea Recon Marines train and conduct parachute operations March 14-17, 2017 at Josari drop zone, Republic of Korea, in support of Korea Marine Exercise Program 17-6. Marines trained in a canopy flight simulator, compared parachutes, and watched each other jump from a U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook. This training highlighted the two countries’ combined commitment to the defense of the ROK and our shared commitment to peace and security in the region. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Sgt. Ally Beiswanger)
