C-17 Globemaster III Takeoff and Landing
174th Attack Wing
April 15, 2015 | 1:26
Fort Drum, NY - A C-17 Globemaster III from Dover Air Force Base, Delaware lands at Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield on April 15, 2015. The C-17 Globemaster III is the newest, most flexible cargo aircraft to enter the airlift force. The C-17 is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to forward bases in the deployment area. Dover Air Force Base is home to the 436th Airlift Wing, commonly known as the "Eagle Wing" and the 512th Airlift Wing, the Reserve associate, as the "Liberty Wing." Team Dover refers to both of the Wings. Dover is home to the C-5 Galaxy and C-17 Globemaster III. (New York Air National Guard video by Master Sgt. Eric Miller/released)
