U.S. Army Soldiers from the 814th Multi-Role Bridge Company, 11th Engineer Battalion, and soldiers from the Republic of Korea Army, 5th Engineer Battalion, work together to secure a ramp to the interior piece of the combined Improved Ribbon Bridge/Standard Ribbon Bridge during Freedom Shield 24, at a training area in South Korea, March 14, 2024. An annual event, FS24, a holistic military program, integrates ground, air, and naval elements, enhancing readiness through realistic combat simulations, interoperability, and live exercises refining troops’ combat skills.
