The European Space Agency (ESA) held a tour of the their facilities in celebration of the Sentinel-3B launch. ESA coordinates the development of Sentinel mission systems and the processing and delivery of data from said satellites for the Copernicus Programme. Copernicus is the most ambitious operational Earth observation programme ever conceived in the world. It provides accurate, timely and easily accessible information to improve the management of the environment, understand and mitigate the effects of climate change and ensure support to disaster management and civil security.
