M119A3 Howitzer Sections conducted multiple fire missions last week during the first Battalion Artillery Readiness Test in more than a decade, since the inactivation of the 82nd Airborne Division Artillery. The airborne artillerymen of 3rd Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, the Gun Devils, executed complex fire missions with several different batteries over the course of five days and four nights such as: the hip shoot, out of sector missions, time on targets, and battalion mass fires.
