Dr. Angel Rivera is the director of immunization for Puerto Rico and he’s concerned about residents not being able to get vaccinated against the flu. Influenza is a serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and sometimes even death. Every flu season is different, and can affect people differently, especially the young and elderly.
Dr Rivera talks about taking the vaccines to the communities to avert an outbreak.
