Commanding General of the U.S. Army Materiel Command GEN Ann Dunwoody, the first woman in the U.S. military to attain the four-star rank, retires. Chief of Staff of the Army GEN Ray Odierno hosts the retirement ceremony at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall in Arlington, VA. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff GEN Martin Dempsey also attends.
