U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 1/8, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, participate in the opening and closing ceremony of the Beirut Memorial Run at Lejeune Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Oct. 22, 2023. The Beirut Memorial Run is an annual event that honors the 241 Service members who lost their lives in the bombing of the Marine Barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, on Oct. 23, 1983.
