U.S. Army Parachute Team, the Golden Knights

Since 1959, the U.S. Army Parachute Team, known as the Golden Knights, has represented the U.S. Army through precision parachuting, disciplined teamwork, and world-class performance. The team is composed of the Black and Gold demonstration teams, the Tandem Team, and the Competition Team, each showcasing Army excellence through public demonstrations, first-time military freefall experiences, and elite-level competition. These efforts are supported by Team 6, the aviation detachment, and the Headquarters Section, which oversees operations, training, logistics, and media relations to ensure every mission is executed safely and professionally. Together, they sustain the winning culture that allows the Golden Knights to perform at the highest level while representing the United States Army at home and abroad.
