CLB-12 Marines Operate Covert Logistics
3rd Marine Logistics Group
June 13, 2024 | 1:45
U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 12, 3d Marine Logistics Group, experimented with the Autonomous Low-Profile Vessel in a simulated covert logistical resupply off the coast of Naval Base Point Loma, Calif., to Santa Catalina Island on June 13, 2024. The ALPV provides the ability to resupply a dispersed lethal fighting force discreetly spread across an island chain mediated by contested maritime terrain, inching the Marine Corps closer to its goals for Force Design 2030.
