The Air Force Institute of Technology’s Civil Engineer School is accelerating change to prepare Civil Engineers for Great Power Competition. Recent initiatives include curriculum changes to the Air Force Civil Engineer Basic Course (MGT 101) – the initial skills training for civil engineer officers. Updates include overhauling the capstone field exercise for the first time in 30 years - rebranding the event from Officer Field Education to Contingency Response Installation Support Initial Skills.
