Sailors assigned to Assault Craft Unit 2 conduct well deck operations between the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) and the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19). Mesa Verde was relieved by Iwo Jima as the lead Navy support ship for humanitarian aid/disaster relief missions in the wake of Hurricane Matthew. (U.S. Navy video by Petty Officer 2nd Class Hunter S.
