Retired Brigadier General Joe Stringham shared stories about his time in El Salvador in the 80s during a Special Forces Association Convention (SFACON), where 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Green Berets, Soldiers and retirees attend a four-day event held from September 21-24, 2022, in the Colorado Springs area including Fort Carson. SFACON is held to honor, remember and recognize Green Berets and enablers with multiple special events, panels of speakers and Special Forces Medal of Honor guests.
