Pa. Guard Soldiers to Deploy in Support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel

Pennsylvania Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to Bravo and Delta Companies, 2nd General Support Battalion, 104th Aviation Regiment, 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, 28th Infantry Division were honored during a deployment ceremony at Fort Indiantown Gap Sep. 5 as they prepare to mobilize overseas.
The Soldiers and their families were joined by friends and fellow service members, to include Pennsylvania National Guard leadership, as they were publicly recognized for their selfless service and dedication to the mission they are about to embark on.
The 2-104th GSAB members are mobilizing in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel, the mission succeeding Operation Enduring Freedom, in continuation of the Global War on Terrorism. They are headed to the Middle East to support aviation operations.
