The U.S. Navy commissioned its newest warship USS Michael Murphy on Saturday, Oct. 6, in New York. The ship is named in honor of fallen Navy SEAL, Lt. Michael Murphy, who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroism. Murphy was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005.
