Prisoner of War, Missing in Action Ceremony

Francis S. Gabreski Airport, Westhampton Beach, N.Y. - Commander Alan Repp and Vice Commander John Dollard, members of the Eastport, N.Y. American Legion, Post 1545, assisted 106th Honor Guard members Tech. Sgt. Chris Esposito, 106th Civil Engineering Squadron, and Senior Airman Jim Bavaro, 106th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, in the raising of the POW/MIA flag. Commander Repp is the father of 106th Rescue Wing Recruiter, Tech. Sgt. Matthew A. Repp. The annual Prisoner of War & Missing in Action Remembrance Ceremony was held at the 106th Rescue Wing on Sept. 19, 2008. The ceremony took place at the POW/MIA memorial located at the entrance of the 106th and included the Posting of the Colors, the Pledge of Allegiance, a POW/MIA Flag raising, the placing of flowers, and the Recitation of ?The Code of Conduct.?
