Shea Stadium, Corona N.Y. - Family members are able to see and communicate with their loved ones stationed in Afghanistan via a live satellite feed. The 106th Rescue Wing and the Friends of the 106th participated in the Freedom Alliance/Military Appreciation Day at Shea Stadium on September 23, 2008.
