Cradle of Aviation Museum, Garden City, N.Y. -- On May 15, 2008 Airmen from the 106th Rescue Wing, members of the "Friends of the 106th," and other civilians attended the 100th anniversary of the 106th at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, N.Y. The event included the unveiling of a new permanent exhibit focused solely on the Wing, and speakers Wing Commander Col. Michael F.
