F.S. Gabreski Airport, Westhampton Beach, N.Y. - Visitors got the opportunity to get up-close and personal with the aircraft they see fly overhead everyday at this static display. The two aircraft on-hand were the HC-130, and HH-60. The 106th Rescue Wing opened its doors to members of the community as well as its own Airmen on July 21, 2008 for Family and Community Appreciation Day. This free event included a live music, food, a classic car show, a Jell-O eating contest, custom t-shirts, popcorn, snow cones and a static display.
