Galaxy Camp Day 4

Francis S. Gabreski Airport, Westhampton Beach, N.Y. - Dominico Farrell, 9, repels down a wall with the help of pararescue jumpers Master Sgt. Jules Roy and First Lt. Ronnie S. Maloney, of the 103rd Rescue Squadron. On day four of Galaxy Camp, August 21, 2008, children learned about many different aspects of a Pararescue Jumpers job. The children learned about Self Aid and Buddy Care, became familiar with the parachute, learned how to tie different types of knots, used night vision goggles, was able to operate a Jaws of Life, and got the chance to repel.
