106th Rescue Wing 100th Anniversary Celebration at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, N.Y.
Cradle of Aviation Museum, Garden City, N.Y. -- On 15 May 2008 Master Sgt. Jules Roy, a Pararescue Jumper, observes the first person "exprience" provided to give children the feeling of jumping from and C-130. Airmen from the 106th Rescue Wing, members of the "Friends of the 106th,' and other civilians attended the 100th anniversary of the 106th at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, N.Y. The event included the unveiling of a new permanent exhibit focused solely on the Wing, and speakers Wing Commander Col. Michael F.
