The Westhampton Aviators, a Hamptons Collegiate Baseball team from Westhampton Beach, N.Y., visited the 106th Rescue Wing on Thursday, July 30, 2009. The Aviators are part of a league of baseball teams in the Hamptons region compromised of college students from all over the country who come out to this area to play baseball during the summer. The other Hamptons area teams include the Southampton Breakers, the Riverhead Tomcats, the North Fork Ospreys, the Sag Harbor Whalers and the Long Island Mustangs.

Maj. Scott Williams, Executive Officer for the 106th Rescue Wing, gave the team a tour of the base and the team also got a chance to go inside one of the HC-130s featured on their logo. To learn more about the Aviators and Hamptons Collegiate Baseball go to www.hamptonbaseball.org.
