The 103rd Rescue Squadron passes the grand stand and the parade Grand Marshalls. The 106th Rescue Wing came out in force on Saturday March 27th for the annual St. Patrick?s Day Parade in Westhampton Beach, N.Y. The event included members of the 103rd Rescue Squadron?s Guardian Angels on one of their rescue boats as well as the 106th Rescue Wing?s recruiters and Honor Guard. The event started at Westhampton Beach High School and wound its way downtown and finished on Main Street. Guardian Angels and recruiters both interacted with the crowd by either throwing small soft blue footballs to the audience or, in the case of Master Sgt. Dickie Lochren, handing out dog treats to all the dogs in the crowd. ?Our four legged friends are always out there in the cold and they don?t get any love so I thought it would be good way to get the word out there and interact with the crowd,? Lochren said. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Staff Sgt. David J. Murphy/Released)
