Both squadrons who participated in the Throwdown used their own unique toppings on the burgers and hotdogs. The 106th Mission Support Group at F.S. Gabreski, N.Y, held the first in a series of three cooking Throwdowns on June 18, 2010. The competition between the Force Support Squadron (FSS) and the Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) featured hamburgers and hotdogs uniquely topped by squadron. A panel of three judges made up of various Wing members taste tested the food and determined that FSS won best hotdog and LRS won best hamburger. MSG Throwdown
