The judges (from left to right) Staff Sgt. Charles Breaux, 106th Communications Flight, Staff Sgt. Paul Clementi, 106th Security Forces Squadron, and Senior Airman Rufino A. Roman, 106th Civil Engineering Squadron, try burgers and hotdogs from both of the squadrons which participated in the cooking Throwdown. The 106th Mission Support Group at F.S. Gabreski, N.Y, held the first in a series of three cooking Throwdowns on June 18, 2010. The competition between the Force Support Squadron (FSS) and the Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) featured hamburgers and hotdogs uniquely topped by squadron. A panel of three judges made up of various Wing members taste tested the food and determined that FSS won best hotdog and LRS won best hamburger. The next Throwdown will be July 31st, 2010, and feature pasta. (U.S. Air Force Photo / Staff Sgt. David J. Murphy / Released)
